Dear PQ Families:

Holiday Concert: Our 4th grade chorus and 5th grade band Holiday Concert is scheduled for tonight, December 16th at 6:30 pm. This is open to the school community and is a beautiful family event. All are welcome to attend.

Many thanks to all the parents who participated in our parent/teacher conferences. Our teachers worked hard to prepare important information regarding your child’s progress! We appreciate your continued support for learning. In addition, thank you to the PTO for running an amazing book fair! It was a wonderful day!

From the Nurse: As the cold weather approaches, we are starting to see increasing illnesses in school. We presently have a few scattered cases of strep throat in all grade levels. If your child complains of a sore throat or difficulty swallowing, has a fever, headache, stomachache or presence of a rash, please see your health care provider for a throat culture and accurate diagnosis. Please keep your child home until you know the results of the culture, If medication is prescribed for strep throat, your child should remain home for 24 hours on medication before returning to school. Please see link below regarding guidelines. Please call the health office with any concerns or questions.

Kindergarten Registration: This afternoon will be our last day Kindergarten registration day from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm at PQ. If you have not registered your kindergartner please do so as soon as possible. All the necessary forms are available at the PQ Website. If you have any questions, please contact Jean Jerussi at 914-669-5317 X3056 or email at jjerussi@northsalemschools.org.
