Art Against Abuse Exhibit Opens March 2 photo

North Salem Middle/High School’s annual Art Against Abuse exhibition, a moving visual and literal expression by students on what constitutes a healthy versus an unhealthy relationship, will be on display at the Hammond Museum beginning on Friday, March 9 (rescheduled from March 2).

Students in grades nine through 12 will demonstrate their knowledge and creative concepts through artwork, while sixth-graders will contribute by sharing their poetry about friendship.

Approximately 100 students will display their work at the Hammond Museum during Art Against Abuse, a collaborative effort between the school, museum and the Elizabeth G. Butler Angel Foundation.

The March 9 reception will include complimentary refreshments and run from 7 to 9 p.m.
