NORTH SALEM SCHOOLS RECEIVE NATIONAL AWARD

On April 21, 2012, Superintendent Kenneth Freeston, Board President Katherine Daniels, and Asst. Superintendent Michael Hibbard accepted the Magna Award on behalf of the North Salem Central School District.  

The National Association of School Boards has awarded the North Salem Central School District a First Place Award in their prestigious national Magna Award program for our work on problem solving through critical and creative thinking. The Magna Awards recognize districts across the country for outstanding programs that advance student learning and encourage community involvement in our schools.
