Welcome to Mission Monday, a series of posts highlighting the ways North Salem students embrace the district mission of engaging in continual improvement, including questioning, defining and solving problems through critical and creative thinking. Middle School Robotics Club members are following their passions this semester with students researching, engineering and creating their own tech-related projects.

For example, several students are building a submarine with the hopes of exploring Peach Lake this spring. Another group explores computer game design, while others re-engineer VEX robots, build with 3-D printing programs, develop lightsabers and innovate with Raspberry Pi. Students reflect and share ideas with one another as they pursue their varied interests in a room buzzing with creativity.
