Starbursting is like the creative, divergent thinking process of brainstorming, but all the ideas are written in the form of questions. Once the topic is clearly defined, each person writes questions they want to know about the topic. The questions start with one of these words: Who, What, Where, Why or How. The questions then drive the research phase of the problem-solving process.
