French Students Enjoy Sweet Treats

Middle and high school French students recently had the opportunity to enjoy some cultural sweets.

Eighth-grade students were transformed into mini chefs and created their own versions of dishes hailing from French-speaking countries. They brought their creations in to share with classmates for a delicious trip around the world.

Middle and high school students also had the chance to hear from guest speaker Matt Frohman, who introduced French classes to Experience Maple Syrup Day. Students were fascinated by maple syrup’s interesting history, its cultural significance and importance in French-speaking Québec, Canada.
