The original work of two North Salem Middle/High School students will be on display to promote Ruth Keeler Memorial Library’s upcoming Plant Sale and Book Fair.

The library recently sponsored a poster design contest to help promote the annual fair and sale and invited locals ages 12 and under, 13-18 and adults to create original work.

Ninth-grader Brianna Perez won in the 13-18 category, as well as the overall grand prize for her design. In addition to helping promote the annual community event, Perez will be signing copies of her poster, which will be sold at the library beginning on May 8 at the Cooks & Books Party.

Sixth-grader Jane Fetterolf’s design also received recognition as the winner of the 12 and under category.

Congratulations to both North Salem artists!
